Imagine owning the roof over your head but not the ground beneath it—living with constant uncertainty, rising costs, and challenges you cannot solve alone. For manufactured housing homeowners living on leased land within the 170 communities throughout the state, this is not hypothetical. It is daily life.

 

DMHOA is the only statewide organization in Delaware dedicated to defending these homeowners. We fight for fair treatment, stronger protections, and thriving communities. What DMHOA does

We work directly with homeowners and homeowners’ associations in leased land communities across Delaware by:

• Educating residents about their rights

• Providing guidance in landlord-related issues

• Strengthening and supporting local communities

But our support goes further. Through partnerships with Habitat for Humanity and the HELP Initiative, we also assist seniors, people with disabilities, and families facing financial hardship by connecting them to emergency repairs, advocacy, and critical resources.
