Q: Can the landlord of a manufactured home community terminate a rental agreement?

A: The landlord may not terminate a rental agreement without due cause.
Q: How often can the landlord of a manufactured home community increase the lot rent?

A: The lot rent may not be increased more than once during any 12 month period. (Chapter 70, Mobile Home Lots and Leases Act, section 7016).

A: Don't be afraid to take an active role in your life and your future. You cannot be discriminated against or evicted for any of those activities.

A: You should know that there are specific laws in Delaware that offer you some protections, mainly the Mobile Home Lots and Leases Act and the Landlord-Tenants Code.

A: You should join and become active in your community association and DMHOA because, simply, there is power in numbers.
